Diesel generating plants have an important role in power plants as well as in industries and commercial installations to meet continuous and emergency standby power requirements for day to-day use. Training Effective Maintenance Planning and Scheduling

Description

The advancement in technology has tremendously increased the efficiency, product quality and production capacity of production plants to meet the market demands and competitions. However, it also has increased the complexity of the equipments as well as the procedures and efforts to operate and maintain the equipments. Unawareness of this development leads to jeopardizing the increased efficiency and production capacity.

Current maintenance management in Indonesia shows that most of maintenance activities are breakdown repair, which is never efficient. Breakdown repairs also result in a loss of production capacity as well as a long downtime. An effective maintenance Planning and Scheduling will reduce the amount of breakdown repairs and shifting it to a higher proportion of preventive maintenance. Maintenance units without a good planning and scheduling will utilize only about 25% of the available time of the technician, while a good planning and scheduling will double this percentage by eliminating and reducing anticipated delays.

This course explains why and how to achieve the doubling of percentage of “wrench time”, the actual time where technicians conducting maintenance activities. The Planning Principles are the core of the improvement. The Basics of Planning describes the methods to develop a work order, identify the scope of the work, the required skills, parts and tools. Scheduling has also Principles and method that must be followed in order to reach the doubling. Furthermore, performance indicators will be discussed to measure and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of maintenance Planning and Scheduling. This course is closed with the method to manage the budget, resources and to implement predictive maintenance.

DESCRIPTION

This course covers the theory, operation, maintenance and testing of power transformers and auxiliary equipment. Topics included are transformer fundamentals, transformer ratings, transformer cooling, nitrogen gas systems and insulation systems. The source concludes with in-depth discussions on transformer testing techniques. This course is applicable to technicians and engineers who need a sound understanding of power transformer operation and maintenance.
Participants will learn safe and proper maintenance and testing procedures on pad-mounted, power transformers. The course covers transformers used in commercial and industrial power distribution systems, including oil and dry-type units. Larger power transformers used in utility applications are also covered.
Load and no-load tap changer maintenance, ac and dc testing, routine inspections and oil sampling and testing are covered in detail. Participants will learn how to perform routine oil tests, and understand how to perform the major tests that are required. A variety of electrical test equipment from various manufacturer’s will be discussed.

DESCRIPTION

This course covers the theory, operation, maintenance and testing of power transformers and auxiliary equipment. Topics included are transformer fundamentals, transformer ratings, transformer cooling, nitrogen gas systems and insulation systems. The source concludes with in-depth discussions on transformer testing techniques. This course is applicable to technicians and engineers who need a sound understanding of power transformer operation and maintenance.
Students will learn safe and proper maintenance and testing procedures on pad-mounted, power transformers. The course covers transformers used in commercial and industrial power distribution systems, including oil and dry-type units. Larger power transformers used in utility applications are also covered.
Load and no-load tap changer maintenance, ac and dc testing, routine inspections and oil sampling and testing are covered in detail. Students will learn how to perform routine oil tests, and understand how to perform the major tests that are required. A variety of electrical test equipment from various manufacturer’s will be discussed.

Seperti halnya mesin pada umumnya, timbangan juga memerlukan perawatan untuk menjaga kestabilan fungsinya. Tanpa adanya perawatan yang baik, tentu akan berdampak pada ketidakakuratan peneraan angka yang dimunculkan pada timbangan. Dalam banyak kasus, faktor usia pakai pada umumnya merupakan factor utama mengapa perlunya perawatan timbangan untuk mempertahankan akurasinya. Jika hal ini terjadi tentu saja cukup merepotkan karena bisa jadi penimbangan yang seharusnya 10 kg disebutkan menjadi 9 kg atau 11 kg. Ini tentu tidak semestinya terlebih ketika dihubungkan dengan kegiatan penjualan atau penimbangan komponen / bahan / unsur-unsur tententu untuk menentukan komposisi sebelum melaui proses produksi.  Faktor pengali dari jumlah kesalahan peneraan yang terjadi tentunya dapat merugikan dapat merugikan salah satu pihak dari konsumen atau produsen.
